An HSA is a medical savings that is free from federal tax. Unlike a Flexible Savings Account, HSA funds DO NOT EXPIRE at the end of the year. Instead, HSA dollars roll over and stay with you no matter if you change your employement or family status. The accumulate funds are yours and yours alone to be used without any federal tax penalty for any qualifying healthcare expenditures.
